Dr. Caterina Lerede, BSc, DC - Chiropractor, Clinic Co-Director

Dr. Lerede was born and raised in Calgary. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular, Molecular & Microbial Biology from the University of Calgary before moving to Toronto where she attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Her internship at the college was completed at the HK Lee Clinic (adjoined to the college) and the Sherbourne Clinic (an inner-city clinic with a high HIV-positive patient population). She obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic (graduating Cum Laude) in 2002. Dr. Lerede worked as a locum doctor in a variety of busy chiropractic practices before opening West Springs Chiropractic & Health Centre. Dr. Lerede's post graduate education includes courses on pediatrics and extremity injury management.  Dr. Lerede has volunteered for the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board for several years in a variety of roles.  She is the proud mom of Morgan and Thomas Stuber.

Dr. Kent Stuber, BSc, DC, MSc - Chiropractor, Clinic Co-Director

Dr. Stuber was also born and raised in Calgary. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular, Molecular & Microbial Biology from the University of Calgary before moving to Toronto where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with Clinic Honours from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in 2002. He graduated with a Master's of Science degree in Health and Social Care Research from the University of Sheffield in January of 2008, graduating with Distinction. Dr. Stuber’s post graduate education courses have included Low-Tech Lumbar Spinal Stabilization Training, Kinesiotaping, Managing Neck Pain Conditions, Active Release Techniques ®, Evaluation and Management of Neck and Arm Pain, and Taping and Support Techniques for Sports Practitioners.

Dr. Stuber is an active health care researcher.  He was the recipient of the Canadian Chiropractic Association's Young Investigator Award in 2008.  He is an adjunct research faculty member at CMCC and has published research papers in several peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Manipulative & Physiological Therapeutics (JMPT), the Journal of the Canadian Chiropractic Association (JCCA), the Journal of Chiropractic Medicine (JCM), Chiropractic & Osteopathy, the Journal of Chiropractic Humanities, and Clinical Chiropractic on a variety of topics including chiropractic care for pregnancy related low back pain and the safety of chiropractic care during pregnancy, diagnosis of sacroiliac joint injuries, management of lumbar spinal stenosis, psoas major injuries and biomechanics, treatment of plantar fasciitis, the use of glucosamine and other supplements for spinal arthritis, football injury prevention, research methods, and chiropractic continuing education. In addition, his work has been presented at several international research conferences.  Dr. Stuber is an editorial board member of the JCCA, and a peer reviewer for JMPT, JCM, and the Association of Chiropractic Colleges Research Agenda Conference.   Most importantly, Dr. Stuber is the proud dad of Morgan and Thomas.

Robyn Thompson, RMT - Massage Therapist

Robyn Thompson received her RMT training at Foothills College of Massage Therapy here in Calgary. Her main interests include working with headache due to hypertension, migraine pain, and TMJ dysfunction. She enjoys working with repetitive stress injuries and maladies of the feet such as plantar fasciitis. She also likes using softer techniques such as lymphatic drainage and passive stretching to aid in the relief of conditions such as swelling (edema) and fibromyalgia. Robyn has been a massage practitioner since 2002. She works mainly in the health and hospitality areas of massage. Due to the nature of her other practice Robyn has worked predominantly with women. She is most familiar with feminine patterns of stress and their specific requirements when involved with athletic training or just improving their general health. Robyn feels that in order to maintain optimal health it is important to be aware of and utilize many different types of therapy. “One must use the proper tool for the proper task”. She is familiar with many forms of alternative therapy and is excited to be a part of this multidisciplinary team . Robyn has been working at West Springs Chiropractic & Health Centre since February 2005.

Sasha Fedchun, RMT - Massage Therapist

Jennifer Bremault, RMT, RAc - Massage Therapist & Acupuncturist

Jennifer is a Registered Acupuncturist, in addition, she is a Registered Massage Therapist.  She has been practicing at West Springs Chiropractic & Health Centre since January 2009.  Jennifer has had a passion for alternative medicine for most of her adult life.  She loves helping others achieve their highest potential and personal goals.  She believes that Acupuncture is a beautiful medicine and is honored to be a practitioner of this ancient modality.  She is proud to be a member of an amazing, genuine health team, and looks forward to continue growing with West Springs.
